Former National Team Athlete who represented Weightlifting Canada on the International stage for 11 years.

Following his competitive career, he began coaching / consulting for the Canadian Sport Institute (CSI-O)

Worked with many National Sport Organizations (NSO’s) and their top level Olympic Athletes, including (Wrestling Canada, Rowing Canada, Tennis Canada, Athletics Canada and Rugby Canada). 

coached and trained numerous Professional Athletes including athletes in the NFL, NHL, MLB, and CFL

With over 20 yrs in high performance athlete development, MacLean’s Athletic Centre remains one of the top training centres in the country for amateur and professional athletes wanting to get stronger, faster and more powerful. 

Served as the Vice President for Weightlifting Canada Halterophilie where he was the Director for High Performance of the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games
